We had a great time on Sunday celebrating Braeden’s first Easter with family! Here are some pictures from Easter followed by a few pictures from Braeden’s first day at the park this year… I’m sure we’ll be back many more times this year!!

Braeden just learned how to crawl on all fours this past week, and although he still does the "army crawl" at times, this is his new mode of transportation!

9 Months & long overdue post!!!

Sorry it took me so long to post another update. Braeden turned 9 months old this past Sunday & he’s been doing a lot of new things, such as...
- He loves to pull himself up to a standing position
- He’s mastered the army crawl and can move across the room in a matter of seconds
- The teeth count is now seven (four on the top and three on the bottom)
- Last night he pulled himself to a standing position in his crib for the first time, when he should’ve been sleeping (he was even in his sleepsack, so I’m surprised he was able to stand himself up – quite talented!)
- He’s getting pretty good at waving
- We introduced yogurt and I think he really likes it
- He can go from laying down to sitting and back to laying down again all by himself
- Most of all, he’s still a very happy-go-lucky baby & brings us so much joy every day! We’re so blessed to have him in our lives!!

Here’s a bunch of pictures from the past month. We've been enjoying plenty of quality time with family over the past few weeks & we had a great time when Auntie Jen & Uncle Jeremy came to visit at the end of February & again last weekend. Also, Braeden’s Auntie Jo was in town last weekend & today is her birthday – so Happy Birthday Jolene!!!

Braeden is 8 months old!

Braeden turned 8 months old on Valentines Day, where did the time go?!? A lot has happened in the past couple of months. His first bottom tooth came in at 6 months, the 2nd bottom tooth came in at 7 months, and the top two teeth came in at the same time around 7 1/2 months... ouch!! It's been about a week straight of Braeden waking up several times at night, and I think it might have to do with his teething. Hopefully he'll go back to sleeping all night really soon (I think we got spoiled with the past few months of him sleeping through the night). Braeden is getting pretty good at moving around by pushing with his legs and moving on his tummy. He's not crawling yet, but I'm sure that's right around the corner. We're still carting Braeden around in his carseat but those days are numbered. I think we'll be moving him to a convertible carseat real soon! I think that's it for the updates... now on to the pictures!

Lastly, I'm very excited to report that our good friends Sara & Derek are expecting!!!! Sara is due on labor day (how fitting!) & we couldn't be happier for them! Congrats again guys!
