Braeden's 1st Thanksgiving!

Sorry it's been a while since I last posted... I know that it's been too long when my own husband gets on my case for not posting an update!!! :)

We hosted Thanksgiving at our house again this year & everyone had a great time. It was last year at Thanksgiving that we announced to our extended family that we were pregnant, & it was great having Braeden with us this year! Everyone enjoyed playing with him and he was having so much fun that he didn't want to nap at all that day. 4 month checkup

Braeden had is 4 month checkup yesterday and it went very well. He now weighs 16 lb & 9 oz (88th percentile so he's not off the charts anymore!), he's 26.3 in long (94th percentile) & his head circumference is 41.8 cm (50th percentile). Dr. Beibel did a physical and everything looks really good and he was impressed that Braeden was making a really good effort to sit up by himself. And the biggest news from his checkup - he got two shots & didn't shed a tear!!! Such a tough boy & I'm so proud of him!

We'll be starting rice cereal in a couple of weeks so I'll keep you posted on how that goes! :)

4 Months Old Today!

Sorry that it took a whole month to post another update!! Can you believe that Braeden is 4 months old already?!? Things are still going great with our bundle of joy... he's still sleeping through the night, he's giggling and babbling a lot more, he's starting to sit up better, he's learning to stand, he's enjoying holding onto toys (and then putting them in his mouth), and overall he's a happy baby. I think he's now 17 lbs (gained approx 2 lbs since his 2 month checkup), but I'll find out for sure at his 4 month pediatrician visit this Friday. Grandma Mislang has a vacation day this Friday so she's going to watch Braeden while Jason & I are at work, and then she's going to the doc visit with me. I'll try to post an update this weekend with the details from his checkup.
